A Little About Me

Hi, my name is David. For more than 35 years, including 17 years as a municipal IT Manager, I've had the privilege of helping people use technology to solve real-world problems.

Listening. Understanding. Guiding.

I believe the best consulting begins with listening first, building trust, and helping people move forward with confidence. Technology is only part of the solution. Understanding people is what makes lasting change possible.

Through my partnership with Opus Consulting Group, I can draw on the experience and resources of a broader consulting team when needed.

The experiences that have shaped me outside of work are just as important to how I consult. My wife of 25 years, Anni, and I enjoy exploring the backroads of the West Kootenays on our motorcycles, sharing a quiet coffee, and appreciating the place we're fortunate to call home.

I'm also a passionate rock climber and have been climbing for more than 40 years. Climbing has taught me patience, resilience, thoughtful preparation, and the importance of trust, qualities I bring to every client relationship.
